printing:
all shokat cards and standard invitations are printed digitally. shokat custom designs and wedding invitations can be printed using digital, foil stamp, thermography, or letterpress printing techniques, depending on your preferences and budget.
process:
we will work with you via email, phone, or snail mail to create the perfect custom illustration and invitation. in order to understand the person or feeling or event, we need all the information that we can get. our goal is to capture a feeling, an emotion, or the essence of the upcoming couple or party (as opposed to a serious, realistic illustration).
timing:
in general, please allow a total of three-four weeks from concept to finish for custom design. if you don't have that much time (procrastination. . .), drop us an email and we will try our best to service you! even if you’re just playing with the thought, drop us an email and we'll see what makes sense.
costs:
a standard illustration generally costs $150 plus the costs of invitations, shipping and taxes. if you are looking to make revisions to a current illustration you see on the site, customization costs start around $50, depending on the extent of the changes.
